Session structure and timing
Your appointment begins with a focused 60 minutes massage tailored to pressure and target areas you request, followed by a 30-minute Sauna & Cold Plunge sequence. If you’d like to request a specific person please add their name in the notes section; otherwise we’ll assign a therapist based on our rotation. This sequence supports a smooth transition from hands-on therapy to thermal recovery at our Northridge location near CSUN and the Northridge Fashion Center.
$116.8 is the listed price for this combined service. Northridge clients — commuters, students, and busy families — often book around class times, shopping trips, or shifts on the 118 and nearby north–south corridors. The Mediterranean climate, with warm dry summers and occasional poor air-quality days, makes a compact recovery sequence appealing after outdoor workouts, campus activity, or errands.
Massage focus and therapist role
The massage is delivered with customized pressure and focus areas; therapists coordinate to address tension and circulation while prioritizing client comfort. Therapists work in harmony to create continuity across the session, so communicate preferred pressure and problem areas at check-in. For pairs, therapists synchronize timing and focus so each person receives comparable attention without prescribing a single technique across clients.
If you prefer a specific therapist, add their name in the notes section when booking; otherwise we assign therapists by rotation to balance availability. That approach helps accommodate students and commuters with tight windows and keeps scheduling predictable. The 60 minutes of hands-on work are focused to address key areas while leaving time at the end for a relaxed hand-off before the Sauna & Cold Plunge.
Sauna and cold plunge
The 30-minute Sauna & Cold Plunge portion follows hands-on work and is designed to support recovery and circulation while helping you feel refreshed and energized. Thermal exposure after massage can complement the physical shifts produced by manual therapy. Individual responses vary; clients report different sensations and comfort levels, so set expectations based on your personal history and how you typically respond to heat and cold.
If you have cardiovascular conditions, are pregnant, or have other medical concerns, consult your physician and let our front desk know before booking. We do not provide medical advice and this session is not a substitute for clinical care.
